According to the Charlotte Observer, a man running in the 2012election for the North Carolina State Senate as a democrat posted a video on YouTube talking about shooting and starving “savages” in South Africans. He compared it to what Eisenhower did during WWII.
Subsequently, the state party officials have denounced Bivins Hollar for his actions. He is one of two democratic candidates that the party has denounced. The other is “Carrol Crawford, a former Ku Klux Klan leader once convicted of burning a cross in Charlotte,” according to the Charlotte Observer.
A reporter from the Observer contacted Hollar, who denied making the video.
Hollar was on the phone with the reporter and while he asked the reporter to hold, the video disappeared from YouTube.
